Good morning my dearest customers,
Yes, it has been a long time since you received a personal email from us. Desarae and I have been overwhelmed with work and have let time pass by.
Thanksgiving and Christmas are around the corner and we are gearing up for a busy season.
Le Voltaire is having its best year since our opening in 2001.
The West bakery is doing good as traffic is increasing with the somewhat cooler weather (80's last Friday, crazy....)
The Papillion bakery is still a challenge for me, but a new management and new hours of operation will help in the march to success. Both bakery locations will be closed on Mondays starting today. Besides the bakery goods, Papillion will concentrate its business for breakfast and lunch and will close at 2 pm, Tuesday through Sunday.
The West location will stay the same closing at 5pm Tuesday through Saturday and 1pm on Sunday.
You will find in this newsletter, the menu for a fundraising event that we are doing in conjunction with the Omaha Community Playhouse and a Wine tasting dinner with the winemaker of Chacewater from California. You will also find the new TV ad we are doing on cable for both bakeries.
Le Voltaire will be closed on Thanksgiving day, but both bakeries will be open until 11am for business that day. Remember to place your orders early. We will take the last special order for November 24th on Tuesday the 22nd. (48 hours notice please)
The New Year Eve menu will be up on our website in the next two weeks and I will forward you the info.
